Sauder computer armoire can be as complicated or as simple as you want, depending on the level of functionality you are willing to take. Patterns can range from a basic board design to a modular multi-monitor system. When you build your own, the only restriction you will encounter is the space available and your imagination

Your design should focus on function first and foremost. Take a closer look at what your needs are based on the equipment you are going to use, and the features you should place your desktop for. You can create a basic Sauder computer armoire with a single surface. This surface just needs to be big enough to hold your monitor, mouse, keyboard and accessories, with your CPU sitting next to the desk on the floor.
If you have a more complicated computer, you have to design a more complicated desktop to match. Multiple display systems may require lowered table clamps for each. Your CPU can be held on the floor of an open face cabinet built into the side disk. For organization, add a set of drawers to the Sauder computer armoire cage rising over the desktop surface. You can increase desktop space available by adding a retractable keyboard tray or a screen shelf to raise the screen above the desktop area. If you are a gamer, add a set of adjustable dampers for joysticks, steering wheel and pedals. By building your desktop, you can change its design to suit your use rather than change your usage to fit an existing desktop.
