Determine the length, width and height of your shoe armoire. If the shelves will be placed in a wardrobe, the device should be small enough to fit through the door, short enough to not interfere with hanging clothes and thin enough to the closet door to close properly. Cut two pieces of plywood for length measurement, which is the part that will run parallel to the wall. These will be top and bottom of shelf
Cut two pieces of plywood to height measurements. These will be the pages of the device. Subtract one and a half from the height you want. Cut all plywood discs to the desired width measurement. This is measured perpendicular to the wall. The distance between the shoe armoire and the number of shelves depends on the size of the railing and the size of the shoes it will hold. Attach the top plywood bit to both sides by drilling holes and inserting screws.
