Hexagon tile are available in sheets of tiles for ease and speed of installation. 1-inch tiles remain on the sheet and applied as a unit. Its small size also means centering them is not as critical as for large tiles.

Instructions to install hexagon tile:

Clean the floor. Wash the floor with a mop and allow the floor to dry completely. Prepare the adhesive mortar in a bucket. Apply glue on the floor with a trowel and set the tiles on top. Alternate between applying glue, then put the tiles until you have a section that extends throughout the room.

Cut paper sheet or mesh floors in the edges of the walls, using a small, sharp knife. Making a clean line will improve the appearance of the edges of the room and make room for the grout. Allow the glue to dry and set. Prepare sufficient grout to fill all the gaps between and around the tiles.

Finally, to install hexagon tile, spread the grout on the tiles, using a wood float or rubber. Wipe off excess grout from the tile top, with a damp, lint free cloth. Allow the grout to dry according to package directions.
