The wood oil finish is naturally beautiful and does not require protective layers of polyurethane. It is one of the simplest clothing drawer organizer finishing methods. Place the floor coverings or magazine under the dresser, and remove all hardware. The sand removes the old color or finish with an impact grinder and fine sandpaper. Sand detailed areas with sandpaper wrapped around a stud or a fine nail file. Saturate a cloth with wooden oil and rub into the forest. It takes a few minutes for the oil to penetrate the wood, and then wipe the excess with a cloth. Heavy oil sucks into the pores of the wood and hardens, bringing out the wood’s grain and sealing it in one step.

Many people choose to color wood when they refinish it to deepen the grain. If you are a purist, you will probably use a pine spot on pine and a walnut spot on walnut. But you can be creative and use blemishes that beat your imagination. After grinding your clothing drawer organizer and removing sawdust, drying or brushing stain on wood, working with grain. Let it sit for a minute or two, and then wipe it off, again with the grain. Allow the stain to dry for several hours. Finally, apply one or two layers of polyurethane to protect the wood.
