Craftsman 6 Drawer Tool Chest – For years Craftsman has been manufacturing tool boxes for sale in department stores and other outlets in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and models. From time to time it is a good idea to carry out the drawers and grease them upwards so that they work continuously for years. Pull the handle up on the drawer you want to remove, and pull the handle towards you. Empty the contents of the drawer, including any liners that may be on the bottom, outside the drawer, and in a safe place. Look at the side of the toolbox, and locate the black plastic tabs, accented inside the door rails. These are the finger tighten to release the tracks.

Grasp the drawer by the sides so that your index fingers are on the black plastic tabs. The tabs can either move up or down but are not specific side effects. Hold one plastic tab up and the other down when removing the drawer. A solid pull will release the drawer and allow it to pull it out the rest of the way.
